Acolytes, Lectors/Readers, & Greeters/Ushers may access the Ministry Scheduler Pro Web Terminal using the link above. If you do not have an account, or are interested in becoming a liturgical minister, please contact the parish office.
Acolytes
The Ministry of the Instituted Acolyte allows lay persons to serve at the altar and to assist the priest and deacon. Namely in the preparation of the altar and sacred vessels, but also as an extraordinary minister to distribute the Eucharist to the faithful.
Lectors/Readers
Lectors/Readers assist in proclaiming Scriptural truths at the Mass. This is done by reading the Frist and Second Readings from the Old and New Testament, as well as the Psalm and General Intercessions (Petitions).
Greeters/Ushers
Greeters/Ushers provide a spirit of hospitality for all those attending Mass - whether parishioner or guest. They also assist with the Collection at the Offertory.
altar Servers
Altar servers have a crucial role in the celebration of the Mass. They assist the priest throughout the liturgy by lighting candles before Mass, preparing the altar, ringing the bells at Consecration, and standing ready to protect the Eucharist from falling during Communion.
Altar servers are not scheduled. Boys who have completed training and would like to serve at Mass are welcome to report to the sacristy before Mass.
